Question from an audience member

We run storytelling workshops with the aim of helping people to confidently talk about their story, whether at an event or in everyday life. We help people to identify the learning and skills they have gained from their story and practice sharing this. We teach people skills like appropriate eye contact and body language when sharing a personal story. This helps listeners to connect with the story and not feel bored, awkward or embarrassed.

Workshops can be delivered for staff or service users from business, health and charity sectors. We have found that the workshops are especially helpful for those low in confidence, self – esteem or feeling a little ashamed or worried about telling others their story. We run storytelling for job interviews for those who are struggling to know how to share their story in this setting.
