We had a great evening!
Just a quick note to say we had a great evening on Friday 25th January at Coffee #1 in Portswood. Ben, Rebecca, Hannah and James all did a fantastic job of telling their real life stories of moving forward.
Topics included a mental health breakdown and moving forward as a film maker, moving forward with shyness and finding a role in community engagement, massive career change as a result of a health problem and, managing the struggles of academic research and knowledge about serious global issues. There were almost 50 people at our event, plenty of coffee and cake and lots of getting to know one another and chatting. Thank you so much to our wonderful speakers, guests and those who help to make the event happen.
